上完初級班後,我開始練功。剛開始,練完站功後肚子很餓。後來,手臂感覺像有靜電,會麻麻的。有一次麻到脖子這邊. 有一天感覺到有一股暖流也上去。

大師講評:

你的脖子不太好, 氣繞一圈、 現在沒事了。

我儘量每天練功。我工作時間很長也有很大的壓力。所以回家途中,當我經過公園我會向樹排氣。很快的我就感覺愉快,也感覺能量增加, 對我非常有幫助。

上週我們去鳳凰城看親戚。回來後我非常不適。在那裡時,我曾吃壞肚子, 也睡不好。我的姑子因為家人過世而非常憂鬱。所以我練習排氣。通常我的手掌色是白又粉, 但是那天排氣時,手掌色卻是黑紫色!雖然還尚未至黑色。我很驚訝的想說“這排氣有效果呢?!”所以我會持續排廢氣。

我有個問題:當我在排廢氣時,會連好氣也排出去嗎?

大師講評:

因為他的一位家人往生了,所以他病氣上身, 因此排出來的氣是黑的。大家注意,當你沒病氣後,手掌就會有好紅氣點,在這之後你才可給發氣給他人,了解嗎?

英語學生8續問:

當你處於有廢氣的場所中,阻擋廢氣的方法是屏蔽收功(雙手重疊蓋丹田)。我想問:如果當你與很負面的人在同一環境共事,整天在這環境中又不方便一直雙手屏蔽。您將如何在這情況中阻擋廢氣?

大師回答:

用意念來屏蔽,與排廢氣,排完以後你就感覺舒服了. 之後如果在需要, 再重複練習此方式屏蔽就可。

英語學生8第三問題:

我姊姊也上了您的課學氣功。當她在練功時她的狗會躺在她腳邊。我姊的狗是一向很活潑的, 一般他會跑來跑去。但從來沒那麼安靜過.

大師回答:

當你有好氣時,動物就會與你親近,這非常好。 當你們學好了,你們一伸手就可以為寵物治病。

(師母補充)我們學生群中也有人當獸醫,他學會了氣功以後用氣功為動物治病。

(大師續答)你要常排氣,排氣要生活化。

英語學生9分享:

我兩個禮拜前在練功時,身體謠動很厲害。它動了一個半小時, 我都無法停止。這樣是否太久了?如果只需要練10分到15分鐘,我如何讓自己停止?練功時, 我還感覺全身會發冷發熱。我不需要走近馬路對面的樹就能感覺到癢癢的。

大師問: 你頭暈嗎?

學生回答:沒有。

大師續問:你舒服、放鬆嗎?

學生回答:是的。

大師回應:

OK了,你練多久都沒關係,你練得非常成功. 只要不害怕、不摔倒,練功練到自動停很好。如果動得太快,可以放鬆、減壓,減少意念一點,指令身體動得慢一點。

英語學生 10分享:

上完課後我才開始了解與感覺到這非凡卓越的東西(氣)。有時我還會測試這感覺是否真實? 我會試的閉著眼睛將雙手放開,猜想感覺是否會不一樣.(大師插話註明:「氣抱寰宇」)閉目的雙手接近(大師插話註明:「太極球」)到6-8寸時, 感覺到氣是一致性的平順。採氣時我不用去想它, 自然就有感覺了。我現在了解許多。一個月前剛認識大師時我身體時很不好。右肩常痛。現在雖然還沒完全好, 但經過一個月來的練習, 它慢慢有進步。我需要每天練功。我是在家裡工作, 常不能專心,也在調整自己。我要感謝趙大師。

大師講評:

現一般太極拳是打噱頭, 好看的,沒有氣的!跟隨我練氣功後, 就會練有太極球. 這太極球會無限的小或無限的大. 可以身抱寰宇,這是能量。這學生因練過太極拳, 打下了一點基礎. 他的氣很強, 推、拉、走,抱球在轉。 他很棒!我以前有學生是教了五六十年的太極老師,當他跟我學了氣功以後,他告訴我, 跟了趙大師學後才真正的邁入太極。 他可是美國專業的太極拳老師喔!

大師總結:

這一班學生很棒,很優秀,老師很高興,也感謝大家努力。雖然今天發燒用氣功退燒,我還是堅持要來給大家上複習課,大家要知道,這是老師對大家負責任,熱愛你們。(同學們熱烈鼓掌)所以老師高興,大家要心誠,努力,有愛心,知道感恩就好了。

Student 7 sharing:

I started to practice Qigong after completion of the Beginning Qigong Class. At first, I would get very hungry after finishing standing practice. Later on, my arms would feel some static electric current and numbness. One time, the numbness was in the neck. Another time, I felt there was warm current moving upwards.

Master’s Comments:

Your neck was not well. Your Qi circulated through once. You should be ok now.

English Speaking Student 8 sharing:

I try to practice every day. Sometimes, at work it’s very stressful and I have long day. So, on my way home, as I pass by trees at the park I’d start doing expelling Qi. (Soon) I feel so much happier and I have more energy, it definitely helps.

Last weekend, we went to visit some relatives in Phoenix. When I came back, I felt really terrible. I ate something (there that) probably upset my stomach, and I was not sleeping well, and my sister in law unfortunately was still very depressed from a death in the family. So I started doing expelling Qi. You see, my palm is usually pink and white, but that day it turned dark red and purple, not quite black, so I think “wow! that must be working,” so (clearly) I need to continue to expel bad Qi.

I have a question: when you expel bad Qi, does the good Qi also get expelled out?

Master’s Comments:

Since there was a death in his family, the sickness energy (bad Qi) attacked him. Therefore, the Qi from the detoxification (Paiqi) was dark. Everyone, please pay attention: When you no longer have sickness energy (bad Qi) after detoxification (Paiqi), your palm will show good Qi dots in red.  You are then ready to send (good) Qi to help others. Is this clear?

English Speaking Student 8, 2nd question:

One way to block bad Qi when you walk to a bad Qi neighborhood is to cross hand on top of Dantian. I was wondering, if you have to work in an environment where there is someone who is very negative, but you are there all day so you cannot put your hands there all day long. What do you do to block negative Qi in such an environment?

Master’s Comments:

Think in your mind to shield yourself and expel any bad Qi you may feel. Once this bad Qi is expelled, you will feel comfortable. If you need to later, repeat this process to shield yourself again.

English Speaking Student 8, 3rd question:

My sister was also in the workshop. When she practiced Qi at home, her dog came and lied down at her feet. Her dog is a very active dog, he usually runs around and never does this.

Master’s Comments:

When your Qi is good, animals like to be closer to you. It is excellent! When you advance to a higher level, you will be able to treat a pets’ illness by simply reaching out your hand towards them.

(Sharon added to the comment): We have veterinarians among MZI alumni. Once they’ve learned Qigong, they have used Qi to treat animals’ illness.

(Mater Zhao’ comments continues): You should expel bad Qi often. Practicing Detoxification Method (Paiqi) should become a routine in your life.

English Speaking Student 9 Sharing:

I was practicing Qigong two weeks ago, and my body moved around so much, and it lasted one hour and a half, and I could not stop it. Is it too long? How do you stop if one only needs to practice 10 to 15 minutes? I was also feeling hot and cold from all over my body. Also, when I walked outside, I do not need to be nearby a tree I can feel the tree across the street, the tickling feeling.

Master asked: Were you feeling dizzy?

Student replied: No

Master asked again: Did you feel comfortable and relaxed?

Student replied: Yes

Master’s Comments:

Ok, you can practice as much as you like. You’ve practice very successfully. Just don’t be afraid and don’t fall. When you’ve practiced to the point where it automatically stops, it is very good. If you start to move too fast, you can try to relax and release some pressure. Reduce the focus a little and order your body to slow down.

English Speaking student 10 sharing:

After the class, I began to understand the remarkable things I felt. Sometimes, I try to test if the ‘thing’ I felt is real. So I close my eyes, and I move my hands away (and) see if I can feel the difference. (Master intercuts: “Universal Qi”) With my eyes closed when my hands come close (Master intercuts: “Taichi Ball”) to 6 to 8 inches apart, my feeling of Qi is very consistent. Some other things, like Qi collection, I do not need to think about it, I can feel it. I now have a better understanding. I met Master Zhao a month ago when I was not feeling too well. I had pain in my right shoulder. It has not quite gone away yet. But from all I’ve learned in the past month, it’s slowly getting better. I need to practice day to day. As I work from home, I have a lot of distractions, which I need to manage that. I want to thank Master Zhao.

Master’s Comments:

In general, many Taichi practice is good for show. Looks good but there’s no “Qi”! Through practicing my Qigong, a Taichi ball will be formed. This Taichi ball can be infinitely small or infinitely large. It can connect you to the Universal Qi (energy). This student possibly built some foundation through practicing Taichi. His Qi is strong. It can push, pull, flow and hold the Qi ball spinning. He is very good. I had a student who was a teacher of Taichi for 50 to 60 years. After he learned Qigong from me, he said to me: I truly stepped into Taichi after learning from Master Zhao. He was a professional Taichi teacher in the USA.

Master’s conclusions:

Students of this class are terrific and outstanding. As your teacher, I am happy and appreciative for everyone’s efforts. I committed to attend this review session even though I had a fever (which I reduced by using Qigong before I came). Everyone must know that I am wholeheartedly responsible for everyone’s learning and have deep affection for you. (Students applause enthusiastically) Therefore, I am happy as your teacher. I hope everyone has good faith, work hard and have love with gratitude.
